Fostering Information Session
The Jubilee Centre, Bradley Stoke
Put your spare bedroom to good use!
We're looking for people who have the time and space to open up their home to a child or young person.
You're invited to find out more about fostering at our next Information Session. These are informal sessions where anyone wishing to know more about fostering can come along and speak to social workers from the fostering team and our experienced carers.
There is a short presentation from the fostering team to provide you with further information on:
• The different types of fostering available
• The assessment process
• How we match our looked after children with foster carers
• The support and training you will receive
Followed by an open question and answer session and then the opportunity to speak to the team and our foster carers individually.
Becoming a foster carer is a serious decision that impacts on your family and we recommend that family members (over the age of 12) also attend the information sessions to learn more about fostering.
Come along to the Fostering Information Session to find out more, call us on 01454 866423 or email below.
